CHICAGO — The International Carwash Association (ICA) announced the launch of several new networking, social and learning events for carwash professionals this year, according to an ICA press release.
Part of a new “Events Series,” the ICA events will complement the association’s larger shows, The Car Wash Show and Car Wash Show Europe, on an ongoing basis, stated the release.
Four new events will debut this year, added the release.
Splash! 2016, taking place Oct. 25-26 in Las Vegas, Nevada, reported the release, is the “un-trade show for carwash professionals” and will feature product demonstrations, raffles, workshops, supplier displays and food and beverages.
The Management Seminar, scheduled to take place Sept. 10-18 in Europe, is a look back at one of ICA’s most popular offerings, informed the release, featuring a tour of carwashes and historical sites throughout Europe.
The Sporting Retreat, which will be held Nov. 14-16 in Camilla, Georgia, will include “an outdoor excursion to one of the country’s top upland bird hunting lodges,” continued the release.
The Supplier Summit, scheduled for November in Chicago, stated the release, presents an opportunity for carwash suppliers to “network, learn from others about the status of the carwash industry and hear about trends that will impact your business.”
More information on ICA’s fifth new event, the Car Wash Excellence Summit, will be announced later this year, noted the release.
“One of the best ways that ICA can help carwash operators succeed is by building and cultivating a community of people who are interesting in learning and sharing,” said Eric Wulf, CEO of ICA, in the release. “The Events Series is a new way for carwash professionals to gain ideas, build friendships — and have fun along the way.”
