Istobal USA appoints VP of technical services

BRISTOL, Va. — The new vice president will assume responsibilities immediately, bringing 14 with him 14 years of company experience.

BRISTOL, Va. — Istobal USA has appointed Carlos Abarca as the new vice president of technical services, according to a press release.

Abarca will transfer to the United States from Spain's Istobal S.A., where he recently served as supply chain manager, said the release. In 2011 he served as general manager, where he was part of the establishment of Istobal USA.

“The addition of Carlos to our team provides us with a unique set of technical skills and expands our capabilities, making our technical team one of the best in the industry,” said Istobal USA CEO Jimmy Sisk in the release. “We look forward to Mr. Abarca’s knowledge and experience to complement our expanding business.”  

Istobal USA provides automatic car, truck and bus wash equipment, as well as services like site evaluation, business plans, financing, technical support and more for more than 60 years, stated the release.

Istobal USA’s parent company, Istobal S.A., was founded in 1950 and has more than 750 workers, noted the release.
