Lighting company expands operations with new facility

ANAHEIM, Calif. — The new location will allow customers to receive products more quickly.

ANAHEIM, Calif. — MaxLite, a manufacturer of LED lighting solutions, has opened a new Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified facility, according to a press release.

The more than 48,000-square-foot building features the company’s first full showroom on the West Coast, said the release. It also increases the company’s product assembly and testing capabilities.

The $7.5 million facility is outfitted entirely with energy-efficient MaxLite LED lighting products. The building received its LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for following best-in-class green building strategies and practices, stated the release.

According to the release, the new location will allow the company to get its product to customers faster.

The laboratory is expected to achieve full recognition by Underwriters Laboratories by May 2015, reported the release.
