SASKATOON, Saskatchewan — Mike Schettler has spent the last three decades collecting vintage muscle cars and building businesses, according to The StarPhoenix.
For his latest venture, Schettler opened a muscle car-themed carwash in Mayfair named Classic Car Wash, stated the article.
“I’m kind of a car guy, a car buff,” said Schettler in the article. “I wanted to hone it around that type of thing; that’s why it’s called Classic Car Wash.”
According to Schettler, the carwash’s building has previously housed several other carwashes in its day and was in “rough shape” when he took it over, reported the article
“I’ve made quite a few changes,” stated Schettler in the article. “We’ve done a complete restoration on the mechanical and the pumps and the inside. [And], we’ve got some plans to do a little bit more work on the outside.”
He adds that, in his opinion, the business will succeed along with the revitalization in the area, continued the article.
Schettler also owns Little John Rentals and several laundromats, noted the article.
