ALABSTER, Ala. — Marc-1 Car Wash plans to expand into two new Alabama cities, according to the Shelby County Reporter.
The local carwash company currently has locations in Homewood, Hoover, Pelham and Pratville, stated the article.
Marc-1 will soon launch a new site in Alabaster and another new location in Chelsea, the article continued.
“We are at the end stages of the permitting process for the Alabaster location. Within two weeks, we should have the permits,” said Marcus Littrell, owner of Marc-1, in the article. “We should break ground the first week of September, and we are shooting to be open by December 31. [However, the] opening date really depends on the weather.”
Littrell reported in the article that the land has already been purchased for the Chelsea location, and construction should commence “two to three months after the Alabaster store opens.”
The new full-service locations will feature 115-foot conveyor tunnels with soft-cloth brushes, window cleaner and free vacuums, noted the article.
