HARRISONVILLE, Mo. — Splash N Dash Buggy Wash offers customers the chance to wash their pets, according to the Cass County Democrat Missourian.
Owners Obie and Juanita Carl turned one of their carwash bays into a dog cleaning room this past October, stated the article.
The room features a tub with attached leashes, a vacuum hose, shampoo and conditioner as well as flea and tick treatments, the article continued.
A ramp is also included in the room to help pets climb into the tub, the article added.
“It’s so nice to have them at your level so you’re not bending over all the time,” said Juanita in the article.
Obie reported in the article that the dog cleaning room is a hit in the community.
The idea of the pet wash was inspired by the owners’ daughter, the article continued, who lives in Springfield with two labs and frequently visits a local dog wash.
“She’s been after Juanita and [me] for years, and we just closed up one of the bays and decided to see what happens,” stated Obie in the article.
Customers can wash their pets for $10, which includes a 12-minute cleaning cycle, the article noted.
