SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — 3D International LLC has received support from Santa Clarita Valley Economic Corporation (SCVEDC) to help its products compete with industry leaders like 3M, according to Signalscv.com.
3D International has focused on detailers, dealerships, carwashes and others as its target market, noted the article. It exports its product to 25 countries, and it grew 19 percent between 2013 and 2014.
“We’re now pivoting to R&D tax credits,” said Christopher Gridwood, SCVEDC manager, business outreach and communications, in the article. “We’re taking a look at all of the employees, their time spent on research and development, and wages to determine what kind of state and federal tax credits they’d be eligible for because they have even more products in development.”

The company is privately held and employs 25 people, reported the article.
“3D International is aggressive with their growth strategy, very inventive and doing great R&D work. They’ll be a larger employer for years to come and we want to help them create those jobs here in Santa Clarita,” added Gridwood in the article.
