TOMS RIVER, N.J. — According to www.newjersey.news12.com, Schuster’s Car Wash has been struggling to remain open in the face of a three-year-long road construction project on its doorstep.
Although the business, along with others on Route 166, where the construction is happening, remain open, the work crews are nearly blocking the entrance to the carwash, making it difficult for cars to get into the business, the article continued.
The construction has been going on and off for the past three years, the article noted.
Larry Schuster, owner of the carwash, stated that, although he’s still open, the work has been affecting his bottom line, to the point of closing down, the article added.
Construction crews have indicated that they appreciate and understand Schuster’s concerns and that they plan to finish by the end of the year, the article concluded.
