Man killed in c-store/carwash shooting

NEWARK, NJ — Hykine Johnson was found in the business, and he had been shot multiple times.

NEWARK, NJ — A man is dead after a shooting inside the c-store of a Conoco gas station and carwash here, nj.com reported.

The Nov. 10 story stated that two to three gunshots were heard, and Hykine Johnson was found in the business. He had been shot multiple times, and he was pronounced dead 25 minutes later at University Hospital.

Carwash employees that were buffing vehicles in the parking lot and vehicle owners waiting nearby fled for cover when the shots were fired.

Police said in the story that they believe Johnson was targeted by his assailant.
