CEDAR RAPIDS, IA — JE Adams Industries, a manufacturer of vacuums, air machines and combo units for carwashes and c-stores, collected food for the Salvation Army, according to an email.
The Dec. 17 email stated that the company set out to collect 1,000 pounds of food and supplies for local needy families. At the end of the drive, the company ended up with 2,054 pounds.

Lonnie Schwartz, president and CEO, said in the email, “I am overwhelmed by the amount of support the company’s employees put forth and I couldn’t be prouder of our organization for giving back to our local community.”
