Manufacturers Association of Florida reveals award finalists

CLEARWATER, Fla. — Organized in 2006, the Manufacturers Association of Florida aims to improve Florida’s manufacturing business climate.

CLEARWATER, Fla. — Dosatron International Inc. announced it has been selected as a finalist for the 2015 Manufacturer/Distributer of the Year award, according to a press release.

The Manufacturers Association of Florida (MAF) was organized in 2006 to improve Florida’s manufacturing business climate, stated the release, and speaks as one voice on behalf of 19,159 manufacturers.

MAF brings manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, regional associations and others with similar goals together to solve challenges faced by manufacturers, reported the release.

The association has held the Annual Manufacturers Summit and Marketplace for the past 12 years, continued the release.

This year’s event (Nov. 4-6) is taking place in West Palm Beach, added the release, and has a theme of “Connecting the Dots.”

Moreover, informed the release, it is the first year distributors will be recognized for the award at the event.

“We are so excited that Dosatron is a finalist in MAF’s [Manufacturer/Distributor] of the Year competition,” said Pam Temko, CEO of Dosatron, in the release. “Judging for the award was based on six criteria categories, along with a number of questions from the judges and an on-site visit. We are looking forward to the Awards Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 5, in West Palm Beach.”

Dosatron manufactures and distributes water-powered, proportional chemical injectors, noted the release.
