LOS ANGELES — A classic nod to mid-century, roadside architecture, Los Feliz Car Wash is up for sale, according to The Eastsider.
The carwash’s listing on LoopNet is promoting the lot as a “development site,” stated the article.
Los Feliz Car Wash represents “a classic piece of 1960s, roadside architecture,” reported the article, and the property is approximately 26,000 square feet.
The location sits on a valuable, block-long street of Los Feliz Bolevard, which is near a Costco shopping center, continued the article.
The carwash, build in 1963, has been noted in blogs dedicated to roadside and mid-century architecture, noted the article, and a photo of Los Feliz Car Wash taken in 1965 was included as part of an art exhibit in Santa Monica.
