Mike’s Carwash begins NFL team sponsorship

CINCINNATI — Mike’s Carwash, now the official carwash of the Cincinnati Bengals, announced it is kicking off its sponsorship by offering discounted carwashes for Bengals fans, according to a press release.

After the Bengals defensive line records two-plus sacks on the opposing quarterback in a game, the release continued, fans can get Mike’s Ultimate Wash for just $14 all day the following day — a savings of $6 per wash.

“We are excited to be the official carwash of the Cincinnati Bengals and even more pleased to be able to pair our promotion with the Marvin Lewis Community Fund. Giving back is part of the foundation of Mike’s Carwash, and we feel blessed to be a part of the great work that they are doing,” said Mike Dahm, president of Mike’s Carwash.

Mike’s will donate $1 for each Ultimate Wash purchased after two-plus sack game days to the Marvin Lewis Community Fund programs that empower youth education, the release added.

“We have no other sponsorship like this,” said Barbara Dundee, executive director of the Marvin Lewis Community Fund. “We’re really excited about it and think it’s going to be awesome. We are so passionate about kids and education and know that Mike’s is too, so pairing up should have a huge impact on the amount of money we are able to raise to fund our programs.”

The promotion begins at this Saturday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, noted the release.

“I can’t tell you how excited I am that we are partnering with both the Cincinnati Bengals and the Marvin Lewis Community Fund. We look forward to having a great time with the promotion this season as well as contributing to a fantastic cause. WhoDey!” said Greg Ries, executive vice president of Mike’s Carwash.

SCRUBBLADE giving proceeds of every blade sold to fight childhood cancer

TEMECULA, Calif. — In recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month this September, SCRUBBLADE announced a long-term partnership with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation (NPCF) with a dedication to do its part in fighting childhood cancer, according to a company press release.

Including a new NPCF logo addition to its packaging, SCRUBBLADE is committing to team together with the nonprofit for the long haul, continued the release, donating a percentage of proceeds from every wiper blade sold.

In the U.S., 15,780 children under the age of 21 are diagnosed with cancer every year with a quarter of those children unable to overcome the disease, noted the release.

“A majority of cancer research focuses on adult treatments and is done within the walls of individual institutions. At NPCF, we fund clinical trials and collaborate with a network of cutting-edge hospitals across the nation to fast track less-toxic, more targeted treatments — all to increase the survival rate of children battling cancer,” said David Frazer, CEO of NPCF. “For 25 years and counting, our nonprofit has been the one shining light for children who are fighting cancer, and we couldn’t be more thankful that SCRUBBLADE has joined us in this fight. We have donated millions of dollars to research, and our clinical trials are yielding amazing discoveries that are saving many children’s lives. Now every person who buys a SCRUBBLADE wiper gets to play a part in this amazing journey.”

“As a father myself, my heart goes out to the children and families going through the process of fighting childhood cancer, and we want to do everything we can to find a solution to this devastating disease. Joining forces with NPCF is something our team has wanted to do for a while, and we are so thrilled it is finally coming to fruition,” said Billy Westbrook, founder of SCRUBBLADE. “This month and in the months ahead, we want to remember the young lives taken far too soon, stand with NPCF to fight with the families facing pediatric cancer today and dedicate our efforts in helping find a cure.”

Since its inception, SCRUBBLADE has been committed to innovating design to ensure the cleanest, clearest wipe and keeping its customers safe, stated the release; today, a new commitment has developed to fund critical research, support the families of those affected and eliminate childhood cancer altogether.
