TUCSON, Ariz. – Mister Car Wash announced the acquisition of three express Octopus Car Wash locations, according to a press release.
Two are in Farmington, New Mexico, and one is in Pueblo, Colorado, the release continued.
“The Jurkens family is well respected within the carwash industry for building a strong brand across the country,” said Joe Matheny, vice president of operations for Mister Car Wash. “We believe the Southwest represents strong growth opportunities, and we are pleased to welcome aboard our new team members from Octopus as we continue sharing the Mister Car Wash experience with new customers.”
With this latest acquisition, Mister Car Wash now operates 232 carwashes in 21 states, the release noted.
The three Octopus stores complement Mister Car Wash’s existing network in the region, which includes a new location in Las Cruces, New Mexico, (formerly Daddy O’s) and full-serve locations throughout Albuquerque, New Mexico, the release concluded.
