TUCSON, AZ — Mister Car Wash and Lube Centers here announced the acquisition of Blue Water Express Wash located in Clermont, FL, according to a press release.
Mister Car Wash names John Lai president and COO
The Oct. 10 release stated that the transaction was finalized on Oct. 9, 2012, and this makes a total of seven Mister locations in Florida.
“Adding another car wash to our established base in Florida helps expand our distribution in a growing and dynamic market” said Ron Peterson, chief executive officer of Mister Car Wash and Lube Centers, “we’re continuously seeking additional multi-unit conveyor car wash opportunities to help fuel our growth.”
Mister moves south, adds eight washes
In 2012, Mister has acquired 21 locations marking a new total for the company of 91 carwashes and 30 express lubes nationwide. The release noted that Mister is the largest carwash chain in the U.S. with over 3,200 employees and servicing over 9 million vehicles annually.
