TUCSON, Ariz. — After seven years of ownership, ONCAP has sold Mister Car Wash for $400-$500 million dollars, according to pehub.com
Leonard Green & Partners, a Los Angeles-based investment firm, is the new owner.
Mister Car Wash went up for sale earlier this year, and bidders included the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System and two other private equity firms, said the article.
The chain operates 134 carwashes and 32 express lubes in 14 states, employing more than 4,800 workers, noted the article.
