Mister to reopen closed UT carwash

TUCSON, AZ — The addition brings the total of Mister Car Wash locations in Salt Lake City to six. The chain has grown to 92 washes overall.

TUCSON, AZ — Mister Car Wash and Lube Centers here announced the acquisition of a carwash in Salt Lake City, UT, according to a press release.

The Oct. 22 release stated that the transaction was completed on Oct. 17, and the closed carwash was formerly Turbo Express. This brings the total of Mister locations in the Salt Lake area to six.

Mister Car Wash adds seventh FL location

“We are pleased to be able to further expand our location reach in Salt Lake City.  The location has been closed for some time, so it will require a few month’s work to get it in top operating shape” Ron Peterson, CEO of Mister Car Wash and Lube Centers, said in the story, “we’re continuously seeking additional multi-unit conveyor car wash opportunities to help fuel our growth.”

So far in 2012, Mister has acquired 22 locations. The latest addition gives the chain a total of 92 carwashes and 30 express lubes nationwide.
