MIDLAND, Texas — Mobile carwashes are growing in popularity around West Texas, according to a Midland Reporter-Telegram news release featured on mrt.com.
The carwashes report using reverse osmosis (RO) water to ensure a spot-free car, stated the release.
Mobile washes, continued the release, generally charge $45 to $65 for an exterior wash and interior cleaning.
Marti Ochoa, who runs a mobile carwash rig in West Texas, explained in the release that it can take an hour to clean one car if she is on her own.
