SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Omix-ADA Inc. donated $85,000 to the Specialty Equipment Market Association’s (SEMA) SEMA Cares charity after it auctioned off a 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK Sport it had modified, according to tirebusiness.com.
Omix-ADA modified the Jeep along with the Alex Xydias Center for Automotive Arts, noted the article. Students at the center altered the Jeep with parts from several donor companies.
The Jeep features $30,000 in aftermarket parts, reported the article.

“SEMA Cares was established to ‘bring the voice and resources of the SEMA community together to make a positive difference in the lives of others’ both through supporting charities and supporting the education of students pursuing careers in the automotive aftermarket,” shared the article.
Since its formation in 2007 more than $1 million has been raised for SEMA Cares.
