More details revealed regarding Cloister acquisition

EPHRATA, PA — Founder Mike Mountz said Mister was one of the few businesses he considered dealing with when he decided to sell.

EPHRATA, PA — More details have been released regarding the recent news that Mike Mountz, who founded Cloister Wash & Lube, as well as the Grace for Vets program, has sold his chain to Mister Car Wash, the Intelligencer Journal reported.

The Dec. 11 story said that, according to Cloister's Director of Marketing Sharon Ramp, Mister was "one of the few businesses" Mountz considered selling to.

Mister, Ramp added, has a strong knowledge of the industry and a "philosophy of taking care of both customers and employees," the story said.

Mister moves past 100, acquires four washes

The Cloister name will remain on the four locations. And 99 percent of the employees will be able to keep their jobs.
