Mr. Clean Car Wash expands franchise program, adds new CEO

NORCROSS, Ga. — Williams will oversee the franchise and corporate locations and oil change businesses.

NORCROSS, Ga. — Mr. Clean Car Wash (MCCW Franchising Co., LLC), is growing, according to a company press release.

The carwash chain specifically is growing in Florida with a multi-unit development agreement across the state with a new franchisee, stated the press release.

Additionally, continued the release, a new franchise program is to be released in the coming months to include various levels of investment and flexibility in formats.

MCCW is also adding additional corporate locations in metro Atlanta and is in the early stages for other markets, according to the press release.

To spearhead this new growth, MCCW has appointed franchising industry veteran Stuart A. Williams, CFE, as its new CEO; Williams will oversee the franchise and corporate locations and oil change businesses, including directing the brand’s expansion across in the U.S. focusing on key markets, added the release.

In his previous position as director of franchising with Agile Pursuits Franchising Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Procter & Gamble, Williams oversaw the Tide Dry Cleaners franchise development, helping to grow Tide Dry Cleaners from three test stores to more than 140 locations, becoming the third largest dry cleaner in the country, noted the release.

Prior to joining Agile Pursuits, Williams served as president and CEO for ProntoWash USA, VP of Operations and Development for Grease Monkey Intl., Regional Manager for WJB Video (Franchise of Blockbuster Video) and spent over 10 years with IMC/Golden Corral, developing and operating a video concept and an auto service and carwash business, continued the press release.

“Stuart’s proven track record of growing brands through franchising, owning his own businesses and working with P&G, will be instrumental in shaping Mr. Clean Car Wash’s future as the top-player in the premium quality and value carwash/detail sector,” stated Bruce Arnett, Jr., CEO, Carnett’s Management Company, the parent company of MCCW. “Our team has known Stuart for more than 25 years and he is a seasoned leader within the franchise industry who truly understands firsthand what it means to be an entrepreneur. Due to his experience in this industry and relationships across many other sectors, it is a natural fit and Stuart brings creative solutions and a hands-on style which is essential to accelerate the growth of Mr. Clean Car Wash.”

“I am excited and honored to lead the Mr. Clean Car Wash brand expansion. People are focused on their busy lives and a high quality and convenient carwash/detail service they can trust, is an important piece in maintaining their vehicles. Mr. Clean is an iconic brand and the MCCW proposition is an attractive business model with additional formats available. With an outstanding infrastructure and support team with 30-plus years of trusted car care management experience, MCCW is poised for substantial growth,” said Williams. “I look forward to working again with the MCCW team, franchisees and the support teams for rapid expansion. As the entire team looks ahead, we are very excited about working with outstanding franchise partners in bringing MCCW to a city near you!”
