NADA names new vice chairman

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The move puts the Colorado dealer in position to serve as chairman in 2016.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) has chosen Colorado Subaru dealer Jeff Carlson as its vice chairman, according to autonews.com.

The appointment puts Carlson in line to become chairman after Bill Fox, who will serve as the organization’s 2015 chairman, said the article.

Carlson is president of Glenwood Springs Ford and Glenwood Springs Subaru in Colorado, and he is partial owner of Summit Ford in the state, noted the article.

The NADA board of directors elected Fox as vice chairman last year, and he will become chairman in January 2015, reported the article.

Neale Kuperman, who represents New York City dealers, was elected treasurer, and Kansas’ David Shepherd was elected secretary, explained the article.
