FORT WAYNE, IN — The new Clean Spot Car & Dog Wash opened here on Nov. 18 and is the first self-serve dog and carwash in the city, The News-Sentinel reported.
The Dec. 9 story said Brenda and Alan Stephens are first-time business owners and they said they did some homework before choosing on a carwash/pet wash combo.
“After some research, we saw people doing car and dog washes in other areas. We didn't know of one in Fort Wayne…and felt this was a good location with so much traffic,” Brenda said in the story.
The couple, who own a dog named Lilly, know how hard it can be to wash a car at home.
Brenda also said they hope to expand by adding on another pet washing station and more vending machines.
