CORNING, N.Y. — Hurricane Car Wash has opened at the corner of Buffalo and Pulteney streets in Riverside, according to The Leader.
Rich Horgan explained that the 2,340-square-foot carwash is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., stated the article.
“The carwash is quite fast and very effective,” said Terry Horgan, co-owner, in the article. “We’re happy with the amount of customers we’ve had since opening.”
Construction started this past summer and took approximately four months to complete, continued the article, and the site features the carwash and a small office space.
Prices range from $11 to $15, reported Rich in the article, and will soon feature unlimited wash passes starting at $19.99 a month.
Moreover, added the article, the carwash will open 24/7 starting in early 2016.
Hurricane Car Wash aims to cut its environmental impact by using minimal resources to clean cars, stated Terry in the article, and the carwash cleans and recycles water used.
Riverside Mayor William Cornell said the new wash will have a “positive impact on the business district,” noted the article.
