SIDNEY, Ohio — The Wax Wagon America LLC mobile car-detailing business currently is working to expand its services nationally, according to SidneyDailyNews.com.

The owners — Michael Keckley, Andrea and Scott Borchers and Damian Cox — currently are looking for partners in new areas nationwide, the article explained, who will receive a trailer with the company logo as well as all equipment, training and access to the company’s online marketing for a $25,000 to $30,000 fee.

The article reported Wax Wagon works in four-person crews who handle 10 to 12 vehicles per day for auto detailing jobs that begin at $95, which makes up about 90 percent of business.

The company performs a wide variety of detailing services, according to the article, including tar removal, rust removal and paint restoration on everything from private cars to corporate fleets, semi-trucks, boats and tractors.

“[We detail] anything that drives, flies or floats,” Keckley said in the article, adding he even once cleaned an elephant.

Reaching new reclaim heights

There is a lot of variety in the carwash industry. Not only are there different types of washes, but the design, equipment, chemistry, staffing and service can greatly vary from one site to the next. However, there’s one non-negotiable constant in every wash: Water.

Since water — and lots of it — is so essential to this industry, it only makes sense to strive for ways to maximize every single drop. That’s where the reclaim process comes in. Collecting, rehabilitating and reusing as much water as possible is essential to protect the environment, the availability of resources and a carwash’s bottom line. That’s why industry leaders are currently driving innovation to find ways to reclaim even more water than ever.
