Operation offers climate-controlled car storage, detailing

HAILEY, ID — The business employs four mechanics, and the cleaning crew puts eight man hours into every detail.

HAILEY, ID — For almost eight years, Sun Valley Auto Club has stored and serviced cars that belong to second home owners in the Wood River Valley here, KMVT reported.

The Jan. 17 story stated that the vehicles range from everyday cars to high-performance automobiles. The climate-controlled car storage center stores more than 100 cars for a rate of $325 per month.

Detailing and preparing a car before storage

David Stone, owner of Sun Valley, said in the story, "We focus mostly on second homeowners here. So we currently have over 100 cars that we take care of. We service them, we detail them, we store them and anything that the people need, we can take care of."

The business employs four full-time mechanics, and the cleaning crew puts eight man hours into every detail job, the story noted. The shop also sells vehicles of all kinds and will put customer vehicles on consignment.

Detail operation part of proposed expansion

In addition, the owner stated that people can tour his car museum and showroom.

“Anything with a car, we can take care of. It's kind of fun, because there's no other business like this that I've seen anywhere,” Stone said in the story.
