Pet wash is warm during cold weather

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — Pet owners can select oat or tearless shampoos and conditioners and flea and tick protection.

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — Valley Car Wash here added an All Paws Pet Wash to their drive-thru carwash, and they are keeping it warm for the winter, LowerMorelandPatch reported.

The Feb. 28 story quoted Valley Car Wash Manager Glen Titter: "All of the soaps and conditioners, everything that's in there is heated. The water is warm immediately as soon as you press a button, so you're not freezing your pet, putting cold shampoos and things on them. It's pampering as much as you can … You can blow them dry before you take them home."

Perfecting your pet wash

Pet owners can select oat or tearless shampoos, conditioner and flea and tick protection. Drying towels and grooming brushes are available via a dispenser as well.

The pet wash has been open about a year, and the cost is $10 for 10 minutes.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — According to a press release, Express Wash Concepts (EWC) held its inaugural Washy Awards at Central Ohio's Cherry Valley Hotel on March 21.

The awards were designed to recognize exceptional sites, as well as team member and partner contributions, stated the press release.

More than 80 attendees were present as 15 awards were distributed including Site Manager of the Year, Field Leader of the Year, Support MVP and 10- and 15-year tenure acknowledgements.
