The following pictures showcase the Autobell Car Wash of Charlotte, NC. This is the 64th Autobell location. There are 65 Autobells in total, located throughout the four states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia. This particular location was met with a lot of opposition during the early stages of its implementation. With condominium buildings as its neighbors, people worried it would create too much noise, too much traffic and would be unsightly to people looking out their windows. After hearing their concerns, the Howards (Charles “Chuck” Howard and son Carl) got to work, making sure any and all concerns were pacified so that the carwash and the neighbors could peacefully co-exist. From implementing attractive landscaping, to installing noiseless equipment, the Autobell Car Wash started to take shape towards the end of 2011, and was ready for business in September 2012. And, what about the opposing neighbors? Well, according to Carl, they not only were pleasantly surprised with how the carwash turned out, but they’ve also become regular customers.
