CALGARY, Alberta — After a previous application was rejected by the city council due to noise concerns, a new application for another location has been submitted, according to castanet.com.
A text amendment by the city council could allow the construction of a new carwash north of the location previously applied for, stated the article.
The first application was rejected due to noise concerns and the close proximity to a park, but the new location is on a larger parcel of land, said the article.
Urban Planner Lindsay Ganczar said there has been no negative feedback from neighbors.
“Two of the main things are the proposal will clean up the weeds and the rodents on site and staff have not received any feedback from neighbors," she noted in the article.
