ATLANTA — The bid deadline has been extended by two weeks for the sale of 29 RaceWay convenience stores by RaceTrac Petroleum Inc., according to CSPnet.com.
Originally set to expire Sept. 15, the new bid deadline is now set for Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 3 p.m. Central, stated the article.
First announced in July, reported the article, the RaceWay c-stores with gasoline up for sale include nine locations in Tennessee, five each in Alabama and Florida, four in South Carolina, three in Georgia and one each in Texas, Mississippi and Arkansas.
No longer a fit for RaceWay’s business model, the available lots range in size from around 15,200 square feet to 3.9 acres, continued the article.
The article added that 17 stores range in size from 2,000 to 4,990 square feet; another seven locations are 1,000 square feet or larger; “while the balance are small stores with one kiosk.”
All properties for sale are fee-owned, informed the article, and are being sold without c-store or fuel branding.
The sites are also being sold without fuel supply, noted the article.
