Rain Tunnel to begin May with new location

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The new facility is the company’s fourth site in Illinois.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Rain Tunnel Express Car Wash will open its seventh location on May 1, according to a press release.

The new facility is the company’s fourth site in Illinois, stated the release. It has three other washes in Missouri.

“Illinois is where we started, and our locations there have consistently done very well over the years,” said president and owner Scott Knight in the release.

“With more than $200,000 in improvements, installing the most advanced cleaning technology from the A.V.W. Equipment Company and environmentally friendly cleaning products from Kaady Chemical, we expect this new facility in Glen Carbon to be a great addition,” Knight added in the release.

Rain Tunnel Express established its first location in Granite City in 1995, reported the release.
