LEE’S SUMMIT, Kan. — The remodeled Quick Clean Car Wash has opened, offering customers free vacuums and self-service bays, according to the Lee’s Summit Journal.
The business will also be able to wash 150 cars per hour when its automatic express tunnels are finished.
Lee’s Summit resident Chris Beggs was drawn to the business because of the vacuums. “It’s a good draw. It’s nice. It’s good for Lee’s Summit and for the city. The fact that you can vacuum here for free, that’s nice,” he said in the article.
The carwash originally opened in 1986. The self-serve bays were remodeled and the express tunnels are totally new.
Customers can purchase self-service for as low as $1, a purchase of $5 or more gets customers free time. Express tunnel prices will range from $7 to $18, said the article.
