Residents choose best detailer in area

QUINTON, N.J. — Residents cast more than 1,900 votes to choose their favorite local businesses.

QUINTON, N.J. — JAG Glass & Towing was named the best auto detailer in the area as part of the 2014 Best of Salem County contest, according to the South Jersey Times.

Local consumers cast ballots for their favorite business in more than 100 categories during the annual event, said the article.

Categories include best burger, attorney, photographer, barbecue, nursing home, notary, pizza, seafood, wine selection and more.

More than 1,900 votes were recorded, submitted electronically and on paper, noted the article.

“One of the best things I do each year is make those calls to notify winners,” said Salem County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jennifer Jones, in the article. “Some folks are shocked, some cheer, some get teary, but whatever the response it's always great to let these hardworking business owners know how much they are appreciated by their customers and the community.”

The winners will be honored at a banquet on Oct. 23, stated the article.
