FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — Rio Car Wash will host a charity carwash event at both of its locations in Fredericksburg, according to a press release.
The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., stated the release.
Rio Car Wash will donate 100 percent of carwash sales from the entire day to Empowerhouse, a nonprofit organization, reported the release.
Since 1978, continued the release, Empowerhouse has provided confidential domestic violence assistance in Fredericksburg and throughout the counties of Caroline, George, King, Spotsylvania and Stafford.
“This is our third year partnering with Empower House, because we believe in the mission of the organization and its vital role in the community,” said Jeff Small, owner of Rio Car Wash, in the release. “This annual event is a great opportunity for our customers to learn about Empowerhouse and for Rio Car Wash and its employees to help further the efforts of the organization.”
Prize giveaways, including free carwashes, will also take place at the event, noted the release.
