SAVANNAH, Ga. — RPM Autoworx is expanding to the Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport after winning a bid for the location.
RPM is an auto repair shop of a different breed. Owner Moira Sheehan’s business invests in new technology and training to deliver a different experience than regular repair shops, according to an article in Business in Savannah.
Having worked on cars since she was nine, Sheehan said in the article that her business fills a niche between dealer and small “mom and pop” shops.
The airport location will be an auto repair and detailing shop to market to the business traveler. In the article, Sheehan said they will also coordinate concierge services.
RPM 3 will also provide shuttle service to the airport, among other locations, stated the article.
RPM’s greatest challenge is hiring the right technicians. “It’s even harder to find ones with strong work ethic and great personality,” said Sheehan.
Having a great personality is important to RPM, since many people are stressed about auto repair, and technicians need to be able to talk to customers and help them relax, noted the article.
