SCWA’s Annual Convention & Car Wash EXPO underway in Arlington

Arlington, Texas — This year’s theme is "Better Stronger Together."

Arlington, Texas — The Southwest Car Wash Association’s Annual Convention & Car Wash EXPO kicked off yesterday in Arlington, Texas, and continues on today at the Arlington Convention Center.

The long lines in the registration area, attendance at educational sessions and shoulder-to-shoulder, consistent foot traffic on the exhibition floor yesterday confirmed this year’s theme of “Better Stronger Together.”

SCWA President Eric Warden promised “three days that will challenge you — motivate you — build you and refresh you.” This year’s event, according to the association’s Executive Director Chuck Space, drew the largest number of preregistered attendees and a sold out exhibit hall.

“We are pleased this year to present the largest SCWA EXPO ever including two expo areas. From the EXPO … the premier education … [and] the networking to the exceptional hospitality, we look forward to providing a true experience for you,” noted Warden.

If you are in the area and missed yesterday’s event, it’s not too late to experience the 2016 Convention & Car Wash EXPO, the largest gathering of carwash owners and suppliers in the greater Southwest.

On tap today is another great afternoon of expo hours, educational sessions and the keynote address, which is being provided by Captain Richard Phillips whose story was recounted in the movie “Captain Phillips.”
