AUBURN, Ind. — The owner of Praxis Detailing, Mike Liebing, has been detailing vehicles and more his entire life, and he now works out of his own shop, according to News-sentinel.com
Liebing learned the trade from his father, and he has passed it on to his children as well, noted the article. He also took many classes to learn more about the intricacies of detailing.
Before opening Praxis, Liebing detailed for friends on the side. He is now considered one of the top 35 detailers in the country, stated the article.
Liebing has been part of the Air Force One Detailing Team since 2003, reported the article. He also works on vehicles for the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival. He recently worked on one of 30 painted DeLoreans and a collectible Chevy 150.

Liebing keeps many tricks of the trade secret to maintain a competitive edge, shared the article. He is part of the Detailers Network, where detailers work together to determine best practices.
“It's not your typical detail shop,” said Don Grog, executive director of the National Automotive and Truck Museum of the United States. “These guys detail it, take care of the paint and put the protecting coating on it, and they do it right. There's a difference between your weekend detailer and your professional detailer. If he worked on Air Force One, you know he must have a clue what he's doing.”
