AKRON, Ohio — In this week’s video on site selection and design, Editorial Director Rich DiPaolo discusses competition.

“While a good goal to have is to maintain a three- to five-mile radius from your primary competition, in some areas of the country, a less-than-one-mile radius is the reality,” DiPaolo states.

With competition increasing, DiPaolo notes that it’s critical for new carwash owners and operators to get to know their local competition and see what they can learn about the area from them.
