Smiling suspect in Lucky Car Wash theft turns himself in

ARLINGTON, Texas — Social media and a guilty conscience made this thief give himself up.

ARLINGTON, Texas — According to an article posted by the Star-Telegram, a suspect in a theft on Sept. 30th at Lucky Car Wash on East Pioneer Pkwy., who was caught smiling on surveillance, turned himself in after the police posted his smiling picture on social media.

On Wednesday, Nov. 9th, Arlington police posted a photo of the smiling suspect on Facebook, along with those of two other suspects caught on camera, the article stated.

According to the Arlington police’s Facebook post, one man broke into a vault, one stood watch and one cleaned out the getaway vehicle, a Silver 2004-06 Nissan Sentra sedan with a rear spoiler and a damaged, black front bumper.
