COLUMBIA, MO — Two big winter storms here have brought in a lot of business to carwashes and detail centers in the area, the Missourian reported.

The March 5 story said the hand washers and detailers at the car dealership Joe Machens Automotive Group, are cleaning up to 100 cars each week.

Cars, which are traded to the dealership, are detailed before being presented for sale on the lot. They are all washed and waxed and then dried by hand.

Things may remain extra busy at Joe Machens as today, according the the Missourian, even more snow is expected.
