MANCHESTER, England — A new survey by IMO Car Wash, an English company which also has locations in Australia, shows that 74 percent of drivers reported a carwash was a quick way to make them feel happy, according to Bt.com.
With youth, that number goes up to 85 percent. The article states that it’s not just wealthy people that feel this increased pleasure, but all drivers.

“Our cars are very personal spaces. The make or model we choose to drive is generally accepted to imply our personality and vocation," said Dr. Sandra Wheatley. The way our vehicle looks reflects how we feel, she continued.
This research suggests that washing your car is not only good for the vehicle, but also for the owner.
