PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — According to www.ajc.com, if you’re wondering how cold it is in Central Texas, one reporter has taken a photo of a Pflugerville carwash that may give you a clue.
On Jan. 2nd, Noelle Newton of Houston’s FOX 7 tweeted a photo of a carwash at an H-E-B grocery store that had completely frozen over, the article continued.

The National Weather Service said that, at around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2nd, it was 30 degrees in Pflugerville, the article noted, and that a hard freeze warning was in effect for the Austin, Texas, area until noon on Jan. 3rd.
A large portion of the U.S. was affected by Tuesday’s deep freeze, which stretched from South Texas to Canada and from Montana to New England, the article added.
Freezing temperatures in Texas were reported for Amarillo, Lubbock, Dallas, Austin and Houston, the article concluded.
