Detailers are using “color-coded task-specific microfiber cloths and towels for greater efficiency.” The article recommends that microfiber towels be washed separately to keep the towels working well.

A grocery bag can be used to protect the paint surface. The article says you can “put your hand in an ordinary thin plastic grocery bag, and run it over the surface of the paint." What the bag will do is accentuate any bumps.
While the benefits of using a clay bar system are now widely known, the article states that reemphasizing it is important because of how well they work.
