Upcoming carwash events

Several notable highlights for the impending months.

Now that we’re just past midyear, it’s worth mentioning some upcoming events and reminding carwash owners and operators that there are still several opportunities for learning, networking and advanced marketplace education. Here’s a brief rundown of just a few remaining notable events planned for 2017.

Early this month, from Aug. 9-11, Motor City Wash Works will hold its annual Open House and Charity Auction in Detroit. Each year, this manufacturer opens its doors and heart for this special event. While there are plenty of opportunities for learning and camaraderie, members of the industry primarily attend the Open House for the benefit of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. If you couldn’t attend this year, please reach out to Motor City Wash Works for information on attending next year.

Another upcoming event is the Car Wash Show Europe™ 2017, hosted by the International Carwash Association, which is scheduled to take place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from Sept. 25-27. This event offers a unique opportunity for U.S. carwash operators to network and learn from their international counterparts. Be sure to check back frequently with Carwash.com and www.carwash.org for updates.

In October, the Northeast Regional Carwash Convention (NRCC) 2017 will hold its annual trade show in the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The event, scheduled for Oct. 2-4, features presentations and seminars from leading business and industry experts as well as an expansive trade show floor with hundreds of exhibitors. Our team will be in attendance, so please check back on Carwash.com and in upcoming issues for updates and post-show coverage.

These are but a few of the industry events taking place to end the year strong. For more information about other industry events, be sure to visit our website’s Events page.

In addition to event coverage, Professional Carwashing & Detailing is also planning for other notable coverage in these closing 2017 months. For example, we’re currently working on gathering information for our annual Top 50 list of U.S. conveyor carwash chains. Also, we’re gearing up for our special Buyers’ Guide issue.

This is an exciting time for our industry, and our brand is here to keep you updated and informed.
