WICHITA, Kan. — It wasn’t just that Spiffy Car Wash was burglarized, but also the damage that was done to the wash, according to station KWCH.
Owner Jim Volk was optimistic, but saddened by the theft. “I’m going to lick my wounds, peel off some more money and hope for a good carwash weekend,” he said. “I’m going to go out and spend another $1,000 to $3,000 next week just to try to get back to where I was Monday.”

The estimates on the damage done are around $10,000, according to Volk.
He believes the burglary took place sometime Friday morning.
Updated: Volk said that while the suspects may not be getting away with much money, that the damage they are causing is a great financil burden.
