MONIFIETH, Scotland — An application has been submitted to the Angus Council to convert an empty lot to house a carwash and fast food restaurant, according to eveningtelegraph.co.uk.
The lot has been vacant for several years, and if the proposal is approved, a fast food restaurant, carwash and car sales area will be constructed there, stated the article.
Some locals say there are already enough fast food restaurants in the area and that another fuel station is needed, but many residents are positive about the space being utilized.
“It is going to make the area a lot tidier. It is better having something than nothing,” said Elizabeth and Ian Robertson in the article.
