SHREVEPORT, La. — A woman vandalized payment stations at two carwashes after equipment at one of the washes stalled, according to msnewsnow.com.
Around 11:30 p.m. the woman had paid for the $5 wash and driven into the wash at Time-It Lube when the equipment stalled, said the article. No attendant was on-site to reset the equipment.
The woman wrote a message on the machine’s screen, then shoved a tampon into where money should be inserted. She also wrote a large “X” on a light inside the wash, noted the article.
After leaving the location, she was seen on footage at a second Time-It location, which was closed. She wrote another message on a screen there as well, stated the article.
Operations Manager Jeff White hopes the machine can be repaired since a replacement will cost $3,000, reported the article. He also added that the woman would have received a refund and free wash if she had waited until the wash re-opened.
Security cameras caught the woman, and White hopes the public can help identify her.
