DAPHNE, Ala. — It’s that time of year again when the most creative of carwashes deck out their tunnels for Halloween.
According to www.al.com, Rich’s Car Wash in Daphne, Alabama, is opening its “Tunnel of Terror” for the second year in a row from Oct. 25-31.
The tunnel will feature smoke and special effects lighting to create a creepy atmosphere and have a dedicated radio channel to set the mood for customers, the article noted.
Employees dressed as zombies, clowns and other characters will lurk in the darkness of the tunnel and wait to pop up beside customers’ windows, the article added.
“Load up your van, truck, or witch’s broom and come get a frighteningly clean car wash at Rich’s in Daphne this Halloween!” the Facebook event page reads. “No limit on riders, no guarantees on riding away nightmare-free.”
Admission is $20, the article noted.
