CINCINNATI — Business owners were happy to see warmer weather, even if it was only 40 degrees, according to Fox 19.
The warmer weather, and it being a Sunday, led many car owners to have the same idea. “[I] thought it would probably be a good idea to get the salt off the car,” said Liz Daley, a college student.
Mike’s Carwash reported a major increase in customers on Sunday, who wanted to clean off their cars before an expected series of cold days, according to the article.
Charles Pescovitz, the owner of Rally’s Car Wash, said there are certain temperatures that are just too cold for customers. “Unfortunately, with it getting real cold, and all the snow coming at once, it’s not as busy. People aren’t coming out when it’s 10 below, for the most part, to wash their cars.”
