ANTIOCH, CA — Pinky’s Klassy Kar Wash is partnering with Antioch Animal Services and K-9 Paw Print Rescue for a carwash fundraiser, the Antioch Herald reported.
Wash holds fundraiser for tuberculosis charity
The Oct. 22 story stated that the day-long wash will benefit animals in need, and the proceeds will directly support the Antioch Animal Shelter.
The shelter has seen a rise in owner-surrendered, abandoned and abused pets that need assistance. Also, many animals require medical treatment or rehabilitation before they can be adopted into new homes.
Wash hosts crowded fundraiser for humane society
Antioch Animal Services promotes animal welfare and public awareness while K-9 Paw Print Rescue is a non-profit rescue group. Customers who want to participate in the wash on Oct. 29 should mention the two services when ordering a carwash.
